Have you ever noticed that when you have some free time, it is very easy to spend it in a bad way? Perhaps getting stuck to your iPad, your mobile phone or watching TV? The precious free time that we may have, can pass us by in the blink of an eye and before we have even realised it, we have let it slip away without doing anything truly fulfilling.
Being aware of this, I am now tryuing to plan my free moments ahead of time, in order to make sure I do things that truly satisfy me.
I have a small, simple list of things that I like to do. For example, this list includes taking a walk in the woods, reading a book focused on self growth, spending time with friends, painting, meditating, etc…
And so, depending on how much free time I have and how I am feeling, I choose one of the activities off my list to do.
This allows me to have the feeling of enjoying my time much more, taking advantage of it to do things that feed my soul, my mind and my body.
I have also made space for taking at least one yoga class evey week.
Because if I don’t make a specific space for going to a class, that time is always filled with the endless other things that I always have to do.
I invite you to fill your free time with things that nurture you too. Especially things that give you the feeling that you have truly enjoyed your free time (otherwise you might fill it with your Never Ending To Do list).
